Beware! This article contains information that may be considered Spoilers to newcomers to the series. Please keep this in mind while reading.

Tim Denson's daughter is a character who debuted in 123 Slaughter Me Street 2 and appears in most of its game's cutscenes. While she has not made many appearances outside of the second game, she has a major posthumous impact on the series.

Appearance[]

She's a very small girl with a pair of long pigtails. She has big eyes and wears kiddie pajamas. She seems to be often depicted holding a rabbit plushie.

History[]

Early mentions[]

While Tim's daughter would not be formally introduced until Slaughter Me Street 2, her existence (or at least the character that would become her in the story) would be alluded to prior to that game coming out. In 123 Slaughter Me Street, the relics allude to something happening to someone with the unnamed criminal being responsible. This was then originally contextualized during a brief section in one of the Fan Art Videos which depicts a then unnamed criminal breaking into a house and accidently waking up a little girl who's room happened to have some familiar items. The criminal then ended up killing this little girl before continuing his run from the police. It should be noted that this early explanation has since been debunked or contextualized with new information.

This scene was then alluded to again in 123 Slaughter Me Street Retro where the final level has the player go through a house, through a little girl's room (which has a rocking horse and rabbit plush in it) and leading to the apartment where the first game started.

123 Slaughter Me Street 2[]

Tim Denson's daughter was formally introduced in 123 Slaughter Me Street 2 and primarily appears in cutscenes and who's death is the reason Tim is now a wanted man. While the girl herself never appears in game she does have her own room and presumably restroom in the House. In her room are several objects that were Relics in previous games (Rocking horse, Doll house, and Doll) and would become one in future games (her rabbit plush) implying that most of the relics from the previous game were her toys.

123 Slaughter Me Street Super Retro[]

In 123 Slaughter Me Street Super Retro, Tim's Daughter appears briefly on the pent-ultimate floor of the game holding a rabbit plush as a ghost, Floor 0. She can not be interacted with and simply disappears as soon as the player gets close.

Slaughter Me Street: 1999[]

Tim's Daughter is once again mentioned constantly in Slaughter Me Street: 1999 through out the Files. It is once again mentioned that several Relics are her toys, explicitly mentioning the rabbit plush and doll house by name when mentioned by the Investigator. Her "disappearance" is also what kicks off the investigation that the Investigator is involved with as her screams were reported on by a concerned neighbor. It is not explicitly stated what exactly happened to the Daughter over the course of the game as the Investigator's logs infer that there may be hope to find her as her rabbit plush (the toy that she would often carry around) was missing and initially the case is treated more as a kidnapping rather than murder. But she was never found through the course of the investigation.

Based off of Tim's journals, she was someone Tim has shown to care deeply about as Tim did not want to keep her in the poor conditions of the Suttermill Building Apartments, hoping that his show will take off to get both of them out of these conditions. At some point after moving to the House, A nanny was hired to look after Tim's daughter due to Tim's work, who soon quits after feeling unsafe and seeing something moving in the yard. It is assumed that near the end of the journal Tim ended up killing his daughter based on his increasing paranoia before his last entry apologizes to someone, potentially his own daughter.

At the end of the Inferno, the player would be sent back to the house starting at the Daughter's room with a lower POV, implying they're now playing as the Daughter. Starting in her room the player is directed downstairs to the front door of the house which has blood under the door, the player opens the door and hears the Daughter scream. In the same level, a Doll that is meant to represent her is present on the very last layer before the exit sequence as the final Relic that needs to be collected.

Trivia[]

  • It was commonly theorized that the Greeter from the first game represents her.
  • It is implied that most of the Relics from the first game are her toys, This is confirmed in 123 Slaughter Me Street 2 where some of the Relics appear in her room in the House. This has occurred as early as the original retro (where only the rabbit and rocking horse appear).
    • This is further confirmed as the rabbit plushie she holds is now a Relic in Slaughter Me Street 1999, likely replacing the Doll Relic.
  • Due to time constraints, aspects of the ending for 1999 were cut that involved Tim's Daughter. Tim's daughter was intended to also "appear" in a cocoon that was found at the end of the final layer which would then serve as the "exit" by interacting with it, with the implication the Tim traded his own life for his daughter's as the cutscene at the end would have revealed that what caused Tim's Daughter to scream was the discovery of her father's corpse with his arms torn off at the front of the house.
