Exits are the end point of the 123 Slaughter Me Street series. Each level the Player must reach this point without getting caught by any threats, and in some games these Exit points can be blocked off or even "guarded" by other threats.

Appearances & Functions[]

123 Slaughter Me Street[]

The Exit is introduced as simply the end point of a level. However, when the player reaches the exit, the player must keep their busted Flashlight on while going down the stairs to the next level as failing to do so will get them caught by the Follower.

123 Slaughter Me Street 2[]

The Exit largely exists as a phase in the game, Only activating once the Player has found the objective and is at the start of where the player is spawned inside the House (the front door). With all notable threats still wandering the house, the player must avoid them and get to the exit in order to complete a level.

Retro Titles[]

In 123 Slaughter Me Street Retro, the Exit once again merely serves as the end point of a level. These end points are also occasionally where the player can get items (most commonly a Battery) after beating a Nightmare boss fight. In 123 Slaughter Me Street Super Retro, The Hunter (as well as puppets that take his role in Infinity mode) can still spawn at the Exit and charge through if the player is not careful.

Non Canon[]

Slaughter Me Street: 1999[]

Unlike most of the games, Slaughter Me Street 1999 has several Exit points on the House map that are unavailable to the player until they collect all 7 Relics. These points are the House's front and back gates, and an exit located inside the storm shelter. These emit a blue light when the player has their flashlight on. In the original Demo, When all of the Relics are collected, the exit furthest from the last Relic the player collects will unlock, and the Nightmare will spawn at said exit. The rest will be blocked off by red bramble.

In the 1.0.7 Demo, due to the new Slaughter difficulty and the added Battery mechanic the way the Exits worked has been altered depending on the difficulty. A pink trail similar to the one that leads the player to the objective will also appear in Easy, Normal and Hard difficulties. Other tweaks are which exits will be locked in the final phase which goes as follows:

  • Easy: Only the nearest Exit to the player will lock upon entering Exit phase.
  • Normal/Hard: Both the nearest Exit and a randomly selected Exit will lock upon entering Exit phase.
  • Nightmare/Slaughter: Both of the Exits nearest to the player will lock upon entering Exit phase, identical to previous builds of the game.

Trivia[]

  • In 123 Slaughter Me Street Retro, after a Nightmare Boss battle, Greeter will always appear in the last doorway before the exit.
  • While the Exit primarily includes an red exit sign that's either above or next to the doorway, in games that use the House the exits are instead illuminated with blue/pinkish lighting.
  • Despite the Slaughter Me Street: 1999's House map having a similar layout to the one found in 123 Slaughter Me Street 2, The Exit point that was used for SMS 2 is never used for 1999. Instead, most of the Exit points in 1999 are in the expanded areas of the house.
